How much does a tour ticket cost?
A ticket costs 17 euro/person. Discounts may apply for larger groups.
Can I pay in other currencies?
We accept payments in EURO, or the equivalent in RON (Romanian lei), US dollars or British Pounds at the official exchange rate of the Romanian National Bank.
Do you offer the tour in other languages, as well?
At this time, we can offer the tour in English and Romanian. For any other languages, please contact us in advance.
When does the tour take place?
We started offering the tour every Thursday and Sunday, but we kindly ask you to double-check the availability of the tour on the day you are interested in. Tours on a different weekday could be arranged for larger groups, upon request.
Do you offer hotel pickup?
For small groups (up to 4 people), we can arrange hotel pickup within Bucharest.
What landmarks does the tour include?
We will see various streets of the historic Jewish neighborhood and talk about the history of the Jewish community in Bucharest. We’ll see 5 synagogues, and visit the most beautiful one. Also included: Jewish Theater, Jewish Inn, Jewish Home for the Elderly.
If I purchase a tour ticket, are there any extra costs involved?
No. The tour ticket already includes the entrance fee for the Choral Temple.
Does the tour include a lunch break?
The tour includes a short break for drinks at a café. The price of the drinks is not included in the ticket price.
Who will be the tour guide? How do I know if he/she is good?

Your tour guide is a Political Science graduate, with a genuine passion for Bucharest’s history and its past. He speaks fluent English (and has studied and worked in this language for more than 15 years), and has lived in Bucharest for more than 16 years.
